Ubuntu certification

Any recommendations in preparing to take Ubuntu certification exam? I'm using M. Jang guide to prepare.

You should check and make sure the cert is still offered. I was poking around looking for info on LPIC-2 and couldn't find any info on the LPI website regarding Ubuntu Certification (LPI-199). On the Ubuntu website I could only find info on training for the cert.

My personal opinion, don't bother with an Ubuntu cert due to the recent changes in the GUI. The critical part of the Ubuntu cert is covered on the LPI certs. I recommend sticking with the LPI Certs which for the most part would mesh with any/most flavors of Linux.

If you want a distro specific cert, go with Red Hat if you can.
