Trying to get a mini game system to run in linux but I don't know how to connect it

I am trying to hook up my pacman game on my laptop computer running ubuntu linux, but I don't really know how. I have a converter for the video part such that I can plug it into a circular port, but I don't know what to do after that. I have installed gtkterm, but have no idea how to use it. The game system is namco, and I got it from walmart if that helps at all. I can't find a picture of the system to link it. Hope I am not too muddy in my explanation. Thanks for your help!

I want to be able to play my game on my computer as I don't have a tv with which to use it. I am thinking it would work as playing a dvd would or something, but i am not entirely sure if that is even on the right track.

What is the make/model of your laptop? Are you talking about a RCA or S-video connector?

Without knowing what type of video card it is difficult to say but take a look at v4lctl and xawtv.

gtkterm is either a terminal emulator or a serial communications application similar to hyperterminal neither which will display video.
