Has anyone managed to triple boot XP/7/Ubuntu 10.04 and booted into all o/s's? I know OpenSuse 11.2 does this without any problems and leaves the dual boot windows bootloader intact.

I tried XP/7/Ubuntu 8.04 a few weeks ago and couldn't boot into XP or Ubuntu, but 7 booted after startup repair. I really don't want to be in a situation where this happens again.

Looking at GParted my boot flag is on XP (I altered this using bcdedit). So what is advisable? As well as bing able to boot into all o/s's, I'd like to edit this version of grub properly and change display orders etc.

OK - with zero answers, I went back to 9.10. No problem and this picks up Windows bootloader with no errors. Not sure what to do if this fails though and how to recover Windows.

10.04 didn't even load properly, so this wasn't a good start.
