Hi,

If I let my computer on with ubuntu 6 downloading a torrent at night, the next morning I check it has downloaded only like 0.1% and it has stopped and says something that I have to open the port xxx if I have a firewall or router. The problem is I don't have a router or anything like that. I'm using the latest version of azureus.So what is the problem and how can I fix it?

Also, my download speed with torrents is a lot slower than when I was on windows. I used bitcomet on windows, is that maybe the cause?

Are you sure you don't have firewall installed ? What distro are you using ? Azerueus depends on java I believe, do you have sun's version of java installed ? Have you tried a different bitorrent client ? Something that doesn't depend on java ?
