switching to ndiswrapper from (nonworking) other driver
Ubuntu tries to use the bcm43xx driver for my wlan card (a dell wireless 1350), which doesn't work (it needs something along the lines of bcmwl5). I have gotten ndiswrapper setup up correctly (i think) and want to get Ubuntu to use the ndiswrapper driver, but i can't find anything about how to do this.
At the moment, dmesg says "[17180973.840000] bcm43xx: Error: Microcode "bcm43xx_microcode5.fw" not available or load failed." when i try to activate the connection, i.e. its still trying to use bcm43xx.
Oh yea, i'm running 6.06 (i havent bothered with an apt-get dist-upgrade yet, should i?)
