slocate

I am wondering how to search for i.e. "test" and only "test" using slocate. I do not want to get hits on .test, test.txt, a-test, etc. The only output I want is "test".

Might be a bad explanation, but I hope you understand.

Hi.

Try
Code:
slocate -r '/test$'
The '$' matches the end of a line, so you should only get files called test.
