Skippy not working with Fluxbox

Hi guys,

I just installed skippy with aptitude.

I copied the /etc/skippy/skippyrc to ~/.skippyrc file and mapped the hotkey to Scroll_Lock as suggested on the skippy home page.

I could start skippy without any error. Now when I press the Scroll_Lock key nothing happens.

It is interesting that when I boot into Kde, skippy works fine with the same configuration and Scroll_Lock key shows the list of open windows.

Any ideas ? Could this be some bug in Fluxbox ?

regards,
Hardik

Fluxbox has its own keys file so you may need to edit that or .skippyrc so they are not both using the same key. I really don't know but it may be a good guess ...

Hi,

I looked at the fluxbox/keys file and I don't have any conflicts with fluxbox keys.

Moreover, I installed skippy at home where I am running sidux (based on debian sid) and skippy runs without any problem. So, I think it has to do something with Ubuntu - 7.04 which I am running at work.

I don't even get any errors and this makes the whole thing more complicated to solve.

regards,
Hardik
