Remastered version of Ubuntu- What Licence?

Hello

I am the Project Leader of a new distro development based on ubuntu and i need your help because i don't know what modifications should i do to licence this under GPL and creative commons (as is ubuntu now) but as a work of my team, not canonical's

I would start by reading the Ubuntu license.

The most common issue in OpenSource licensing is simply that you are required to keep "open" anything that comes to you as open.

You should make whatever modifications are appropriate for what you are planning on releasing!!!

You are required to comply with the terms of the Ubuntu license, plus any copyrights, trademarks, etc. Beyond that, do whatever fits the situation.
