Postfix, MySQL, SquirrelMail and BIND

Hi folks,
I am considering installing Ubuntu as a Mail and DNS server. I will be installing Postfix, MySQL, SquirrelMail and BIND. Has anyone of you had any experiences with this scenario? Any comments? Suggestions? How do these applications run under Ubuntu? Any security/stability issues?
There is not much work around Ubuntu running as a server, so I'm hesitating... but it will be cool if everything worked out fine.

If there isn't much info, maybe you could install the setup you require on a test system or partition and check it out yourself. I am sure the packages in Ubuntu would be quite stable since they go through extensive testing like in Debian (probably to a lesser level).

Why do you need a fully featured desktop machine for such tasks? I think a headless debian sarge machine accesed from a main ubuntu desktop would be the best way (that's the way I work anyway).

Indeed, I do agree. In fact, last week after a few thoughts I decided to installed Debian on my servers, and leave Ubuntu just for desktop work.
