Unhappy Not able to Mount my Windows drives....


hi ppl im a newbie to linux and im using Ubuntu breezer n im not able to mount my windows drive on booting coz when ever i mount locally my fstab remains the same so im not able to edit the permissions coz it does not shows any of my windows drives...........

here look at it

this line is missing --> /dev/hda1 /media/hda1 ntfs defaults 0 0

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hda3 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hda6 none swap sw 0 0
/dev/hdb /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/sda /media/usb0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0


It doesnt show /dev/hda1 or /dev/hda5 which are my windows drives now if it shows i can edit it /dev/hda1 /media/windows ntfs umask=0222 0 0 with this 1 rite ?


now plz help me out.........

You don't need to edit an existing line. You can just add one in.
