Newly installed Kdenlive no showing up underapplications

I'm currently using "Hardy Heron" and have had very few problems that I could'nt solve but this has me stumped. I downloaded KDenlive from synaptic but it did'nt show up under the application tab. I did a reboot and I still don't see it. Why can't I find it? Any ideas?

I don't know why it hasn't been automatically added to your menu but it's easy enough to add it yourself.

Right click Applications

Left click Edit Menus

Select Sound and Video and click New Item

In the Name section put KDenlive

In the Command section put /usr/bin/kdenlive

Click OK click Close and you're all done.
