Today, after the electricity stopped at home, my computer switched off, and when I switched it on, it went to check file system for having errors (as usually after such an accident)
so it did the file check, and after that instead of getting me to the login-screen, it justs hangs up, still in cmd mode, saying me apt does not exist
it tells me to install it by apt-get install apt, but huh, since it doesnt exist, i cannot install it ofc.
to pipe every file on your system with apt in the name through less. Then use that to evaluate if apt is really gone or if the system is mistaken. Do you still have dpkg? If so, you can just grab the apt-get .deb file, install via dpkg, and be on your way. However, Ubuntu claiming apt is gone may have some larger underlying problem.
