Kubuntu KDE4 panel color transparent?

Hello! Anyone know how to change the color of the panel at the bottom of the screen or make it transparent? I know it's possible because my Macbook running Kubuntu Jaunty in a VirtualBox has a transparent panel, although I don't know how it happened. I would like my desktop computer (Kubuntu Jaunty as well) to do the same, but I haven't figured out how it's done, nor can I find documentation on the matter.

In Ubuntu you right click somewhere in a blank area on the panel and you click on "properties". I'm prety sure this works in Kubuntu also ( I was going to be a Kubuntu user initially)...There's a transparency setting under properties where you can control how much or how little to show.

Unfortunately, I think this has changed from previous versions. Right clicking on the panel gives me: panel option - panel settings, where I can choose to add/remove widgets, change panel edge and height --

OK - just then I clicked on "height" and as soon as I dragged upwards on the panel, it changed from the default blue to transparent! I then dragged it back down to it's previous size, and now it's staying transparent. I think that's a little weird but hey it works!
