It could be your login key is corrupt.
I once had this issue.
What happened is I got a prompt from keyring asking for something-not-a-password (what else could it be?)
and I blindly typed a password in.

Deleting the login key in fixed that.

It has taken nigh-on forever to find the solution, but I believe it may be here:

rm -rf ./.config/goa-1.0/accounts.conf
rm -rf ./.config/evolution
rm -rf ./.local/share/evolution
