I was running Ubuntu 9.1 and upgraded to 10.04 when it was released. Have had many

problems since then and would like to go back to 9.1. Is there a way to do that without losing data? JJG

I have a separately mounted /home directory where most of my personal data resides. This way I can exchange installations on other mountpoints and always keep the /home directory.

As far as I know there is no command like apt-get downgrade or sth like that. But maybe someoneelse knows better?

When I switched to 10.4/64 I encountered a lot of bugs, too. One shouldn't switch too soon...
