HP Color Laserjet 1500L

Hello,

I have a HP Color Laserjet 1500L, which can only run on USB. I plugged it in, and Ubuntu recognises a Color Laserjet 1500, when I go into Administration > Printing. And Ubuntu does let me select it and install it. However it will not print, it goes into the spooler and leaves the spooler as it should if it was printing, but the printer never does anything.

Any ideas? What am I missing?

Check out this link and see if using this driver with cups.

I have tried using the drivers available on linuxprinting.org, and they do not work. I am trying to run this using USB and cannot get it working.

Anybody else have ideas?
