How to change the default wm in KDM?

I read the LQ wiki about KDM, but I didn't find, what I was looking for.

I'd like to know, where to change set the 'default' (the one you can select from the session-list (M-t)) session for KDM.

I can add and remove available session but not change the default one to, say, KDE.

Please help

Since you installed Ubuntu you are probably using GDM instead of KDM. Both set the default session in similar ways. At the GDM or KDM logon screen click on "sessions" and choose the window manager you want to use. Then log in to the user that you are setting the default for.

KDM makes the last wm that you logged into the default. GDM asks you whether to make the new wm the default wm when you switch.

Thanks, I thought it's saves in a .desktop file somewhere not where the normal session-.desktop files are.

And I do use KDM, most of the time. I sometime switch to SLiM, when I need to reboot my Laptop more often.

Some session in the M-t list, appeared twice, I had to clean up /var/lib/menu-xdg/xsessions and /usr/share/xsession.

While I was at it, I though I could configure KDM a bit better, so I was looking for the other entries in the list.
