anyway to restore deleted files?


is there any norton ghost type programs for linux?

If you're using ext3, which I think is the Ubuntu default, your data is going to be pretty much impossible to get back.

Recovery Deleted Files

Recover Space after accidently Over filling /
boot from a LiveCD mount you root HDD and delete some useless file
eg
rm /var/tmp/*
