How can I change font colors in order to see what I am typing?

Hey folks!
This is what I see when I am trying to reply to the posts at the Ubuntu forums.

I like dark themes, but every time that i use one, I run into problems seeing fonts in web pages! (especially the Ubuntu forum!)

I tryed Edit>Preferences>Colors in firefox. (I chose "Use system colors", AND "Allow pages to choose their own colors..." but nothing worked!

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm not sure about gnome, but in kde w/ ubuntu you can go to the main (start?) menu and choose system settings-appearance->appearance, I imagine that you are probably having this problem outside of firefox too? If so, then you need to change the widget backgrounds.

Hi! Nope.,no problem outside of firefox! Really, no problem outside of the Ubuntu Forum reply page! I can only see what I am typing when I choose a light colored default theme like 'Clearlooks'!
