herlp please


i have yust installed ubuntu.First i had dual boot (fedora core,windows)but after installation i have only ubuntu,windows.Is thare any command to see if my fedora is still installed.i tried
Code:

fdisk -l

but nothing happens.if there still is fedora core i would yust edit grub.conf.

If you have ubuntu and fedora on the same machine, you should see a separate partition for each.
If you have a separate /boot partition, you may want to check if you have 2 Linuxes in there too.

Linux installers have a *very* poor record of recognising other Linux installs, but generally find Windows o.k. Go figure.

There is a chance that the FC install still exists - there is also a chance that Ubuntu installed over the top of it. Ubuntu requires you to use sudo for root access - try "sudo fdisk -l".
If FC still exists, you can simply add an extry for it to the Ubuntu menu.lst
