grub isnt showing option for BSD


i installed FreeBSD 6.0 in the 1st Primary partition
then I installed UBUNTU in the 2nd primary,,now when I booted the PC on,the grub(of UBUNTU) isnt showing option for BSD
how can i retrieve back my BSD

Check your /boot/grub/menu.lst file to see if it's listed if not you'll have to add it like so

title=FreeBSD 6.0
root (hd0,1,a) <------or wherever it is located
kernel /boot/loader

Have a look at the FreeBSD handbook, it should be something listed there about this if you need further info.

i got it fixed
just appended the grub with
title FreeBSD
root (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
