People probably know what is gray hat hacking but they probably choose to play ignorant to you because of the nature of your question.
There is no such think of learning how to be a gray hat hacker.
There is computer and computer related knowledge. If you have any specific question please do.

Hi, Welcome to LQ!

LQ has a fantastic search function that may save you time waiting for an answer to a popular question.

With over 3 million posts to search it's possible the answer has been given.

You've found it.

You'll need a spell checker (lol), computers are very unforgiving of simple errors!

Some docs to read....

http://www.jpeek.com/articles/linux_magazine.html "Wizard Boot Camp series"

Also look for similar threads at the bottom of this webpage

Personally, I thought it was called White Hat Hacking, where Black Hat was the Malicious type.

Cheers, Regards Glenn
