I just installed freeNX (Server on my ubuntu desktop) and client on my Windows laptop and it works.
Now I want to control my remote desktop through the web , how do I do it (I installed Apache and web companion on the ubuntu machine , and now what...?)
Thanks
I already wrote (first thread) that I installed it and it works , meaning installed Server on the Linux Desktop and Client on the Windows laptop , again it works.
But then I found out (by reading some documents , I swear ...) that I can control the server through the web. I installed Apache and web companion (the way the docs recommended) on Server , but couldn't find what to do next this is something I didn't find in the docs , so I assume I miss something fundamental.
what to do next? well that depends where you've actually got to. If all you've done is install apache and the web companion RPM, then there's clearly a lot more work to do in line with the documentation. If you have followed the documentation then you can provide us with a lot more useful information to try to work out where you currently are to know what to do next.
