Question Error During BOOT

Hey guys,
Installed Ubuntu and fired my Presario laptop and finally got everything running.... however I have a few errors that keep apearing during and after boot. Can someone please tell me if these errors are something that I need to worry about?

Error 1: Appears During OS BOOT - Warning: ATI Radeon AGP is not yet y fully tested

Error 2: load ndisdriver: load ndisdriver (309):file 14E4:4320:OE11.00E7.conf is ignored (this appears for about 2 minutes during which the entire system pauses booting.

The following appear after user login:

Error 3: Composite Manager crashed twice in 1 minute and is therefore disabled for this session.

Error4: Composite extension not found
You must use XOrg ≥ 6.8 for translucency and shadows to work.
Additionally, you need to add a new section to your X config file:
Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection

I know these might look silly but Id really appretiate it if you guys can help me out.

1 sounds like you're using a driver that's not fully out of beta yet. Does it give you any trouble?

2 sounds like you're trying to use IPv6 with your wireless card. I sincerely doubt you need to be doing this, but I'm new enough with Ubuntu not to know how to fix it.

3 and 4 are both with regards to compositing in Xorg. Compositing needs to be explicitly turned on. There's a really nice article over at ubuntuforums.org, http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthre...ht=compositing

I know this can be a pain, but have you tried using your boot cd or floppy to do a repair/reinstall? I agree with the last post that you are probably experiencing driver issues though.

#1: don't worry about it, ATI drivers are ever buggy but generaly "work"

#2: when you install an ndiswrapper driver, it installs all the drivers that come in the bundle. Though it should only load the one you tell it too, double check the config and make sure its only loading the one driver. Aslo, if the wireless isn't integrated, i don't know how ndiswrapper acts when the card isn't inseted on boot.

#3&4: 3 is related to 4, and 4 tells you what you need to do to enable compositing. If you don't want compositing you may have to ask over at x.org how to keep the error from happening, also report a bug on ubuntu, sounds like a bad default setup to me.
