Hey there!
Recently, I nuked Windows XP on my *new* laptop, and decided to install Ubuntu Dapper Drake. The install went without a hitch, as did the resulting update.
No problems!
BUT, when I boot into my system now, it only shows me a resolution of 800x600.
I have had a look at the display properties, but to no avail, it only enables me to have the resolution at 800x600, and there is no other option to chnage it. I have tried to gather info about what graphics "card" and driver its using, but I seem to be getting this confused.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this information, possibly update the driver for the adaptor, and then change to a more pleasing resolution, like 1024x768??
Thanks!
