could not switch to terminal session


hi,
when i installed kubuntu, everything worked fine.
but something happened and i am not able to switch to tty1 or tty2 or ... from tty7 .
please help me

What do you mean "something" happened. Like what happened? When you are prompted at the login (gui or text mode), just press ctrl+alt+F1...F2...F3...F4...F5, etc... You should see it changes your TTY#.

i dont know exactly what happened but ctrl+alt+F1 or F2 etc are not working.
