Cannot install Comodo Anti Virus

Hallo.
I downloaded Comodo AV from the official site (it came down as a cav-linux_x64.deb).

It does not install because of a dependency issue: it says it needs package libssl0.9.8.

Problem is: I cannot find that package in the Ubuntu repositories (I am running Kubuntu 20.04)

Any idea on how to fix?

This library is part of ssl but it's rather an old version. Since a lot of software packages depend on the more recent system ssl libraries, you can't downgrade those without breaking your system.

I believe it is possible to install alternative versions of libraries for special purposes in a non-standard location such as /usr/local/lib or /opt/lib and keep them out of the way of your other software, but I don't know exactly how that is done.
