Aquasim simulator Installation

Hi,

I do hope that all of you will be fine and doing well. I want to install Aquasim simulator on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (which is for under water sensor network) to proceed with my research work. I tried alot and check google as well but cant find any solution for proper installation and packages.

Kindly guide me how to properly install and configure Aqua-sim simulator in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (installed in VMware).

Building Aqua-Sim requires an older 32bits `Linux OS´.
The only supported "oldish" is CentOS 6.10

Conditions for building ns2 : The OS must be installed to hard disk.
Both VirtualBox and wmWare have built unusable executable 'ns' the last couple of years.

Ubuntu 16.04 : You can install an executable "ns aqua" built on e.g. Ubuntu 10.10
