Anybody Recognize a Directory Called "Home_Files"?

Seems that I have a mystery directory that popped-up called "Home_Files". It was apparently installed in October. I guess, I wasn't paying much attention. A cursory internet search and a review of my installed packages did on disclose anything obvious. I am beginning to think it isn't really a Linux package, but something akin to a web-page plug-in. In any case, before deleting the directory with a cleaver, just want to see if anyone might know something about it?

The image shows the name as "How_files".

You could try this to see if anything is using it:
Code:
lsof | grep How_files
That only shows currently open files, so the results aren't necessarily conclusive.

I had previously tried by using the system monitor and looking for an executable type file, no results. I was surprised that at the lack of a good positive hit through an internet search. Thanks.

That looks just like what Firefox does if you save a web page using the "Web page complete" option.

If the title or name of the page was "How" then it will create a file named How and a directory named How_files/ where it will put all the javascript, css, images, etc... which looks like what is in there.

Comment: Please use text instead of images to communicate such things. A little text pasted inside [CODE]...[/CODE] tags is much more friendly and useful than an image where visitors must click once (to let javascript open an image layer over the page), click twice (to try to enlarge it to readable size which opens it in a new tab), click thrice (to actually enalrge it in the browser). Also, images tend to disappear over time and do not generate keywords for the search engines so others can find it.

I normally do not bother opening these and responding to such threads myself, as I know others do as well, so it does affect the attention your question gets as well.

Thanks. Explains a lot. I must have accidentally clicked on something.
