Anbox on Ubuntu

Has anyone tried this application on Ubuntu? If so, how well does it work? Any significant issues?

Here's the application's web site:
"Anbox puts the Android operating system into a container, abstracts hardware access and integrates core system services into a GNU/Linux system. Every Android application will be integrated with your operating system like any other native application." https://anbox.io/

Hi:

I haven't tried Anbox but I did find one common problem with it.
Looks like it needs to be installed on arm architecture.

One way to find out how well it works is run Ubuntu in a VM and install Anbox and see how well it works for you.
If you find that you don't like it you can always remove it.-
