Not really. When you have your greatest cheerleaders/shills (delete whichever one is least charitable in your mind) openly saying "despite changes made, things are still bad" then Microsoft is getting a real wake up call.
Thurrot in particular has been criticised for loving MS despite all their faults. And now even he is writing that things are going wrong. Something must be up.
Basically, Vista is supposed to be the Mac and Linux killer, it looks like it's going to fall flat. If your entire software release is based around the premise "it will look pretty" then you know and I know that MS is riding for a severe fall.
