I guess Redhat don't want people having the option of using CENTOS8 rather than giving them money for RHEL. I'm surprised no one saw this coming when Redhat took over CENTOS.

I suspect Fermilab are now regretting abandoning their own "Scientific Linux" distro in favour of CENTOS.
