One of the worst articles I have read in the last months. There is actually no "race them face-to-face" at all, all you can get from that articles is which browser and which office package come in those distributions, something that can be easily looked up on their homepages or on Distrowatch.
Nothing about speed or some numbers on resource usage (which I would think are the two main reasons to use LXDE).
