I seem to remember that the day that article by Symantec was released, I had received a Debian security advisory about some open office packages (don't remember the threat level). By latter the afternoon, my computer had already downloaded an update addressing the problem. Of corse Symantec wants people to think Windows is best, because they make their money of the crappiness of Micro$oft products. Something tells me that they need to "get the facts" strait (pun intended).
