This article diminishes the credibility of both Phoronix and Michael Larabel.
First, the article has no sources.
Second, what Michael actually wrote was not that the Chinese decided against NVidia because of the drivers were closed source. It was that the Chinese could not negotiate a license for their own use of the driver source. That's a huge difference. (By comparison, Microsoft will AFAIK give you access to the Windows source under their terms).
