Until now, developers wishing to create iPhone applications were pretty-much limited to the tools provided by Apple. Novell's announcement of the toolkit, developed by the Mono Project, means that existing applications, along with their look-and-feel can easily be ported from .Net and Mono environments (under Windows and Linux) to the iPhone and iPod Touch.
