LXer: Introducing the Humble Deteriorating Bundle!

Published at LXer:

"I can proudly say I purchased the first Humble Bundle (the `Humble Indie Bundle`), and I can say I'm glad to have not purchased the last seven. Why? I know what you're thinking, `It's a good deal, and it's monetary motivation for developers to port their games to Linux, and remove any pre-existing DRM.` Yeah, yeah, but that's nothing compared to the first Humble Bundle."

"I took one look at the graphics and then turned up my nose. They weren't even in 3D, fer chrissakes!"

Not a blogger that I'll be following.

I still fondly remember this. There was once a time when gameplay was a greater priority than graphics. Sure we wanted better graphics, but the games we played then were the ones that managed to be fun despite hardware limitations.

I suppose if Tetris and Doom II were released for the first time tomorrow they'd be largely ignored.

From their front page:

We have recently gotten support from a website called Pokerlistings, which is a site featuring editorial content about poker, such as guides to playing poker online. Their content team is currently working on a campaign to support websites that offer great content freely to visitors. We've been selected because of our editorial content about free software and operating systems. Thanks guys.
This blog looks like an SEO-shilling content farm. No-wonder their "content" is so idiotic.

The website in the link is down. I hope it stays down.

UPDATE: The comments to that "article" have all been deleted!

23 of them, almost all of which were (predictably) in disagreement.
