Some of these myths don't really seem to be all that common.....

Yeah, the comments made on there suggest the same ... these are not myths, I think they made them up.

Maybe it's stuff that only the writer believes but is hoping to popularise?

You can get worse hangovers from red than white.

lol, well then someone should fork wine, and make a white wine version. Or I guess some of these helper programs might qualify ... transmuting red into white:
