Linux in general is considered easier to install than windows. But the latest release of Ubuntu named Dapper Drake takes the cake in ease of installation. In a mere six steps, one can now install Dapper Drake on ones machine. Check the images!!

I found the partitioning tool confusing when it came to logical partitioning. Give me cfdisk any time!

Other than that, it was a pretty good install. The liveCD's definitely better than the text menus for a new user.

Pity you still have to download EasyUbuntu serperately tho
