.ZIP .RAR passwords help!

does suse 10 not support .zip or .rar with passwords?

when I get .zip or .rar files that require a password to unzip or unrar, I don't get asked for a password

this is waht i get;
extraction operation failed
*i go to details*
unable to get password

do I need to install something for this!

HELP PLZ!

From the command line try rar x file.rar and see if it prompts you for the password.

.... would that work for a .zip file too

i.e. zip X filename.zip


EDIT: OK Cool..Got it working with unzip filename.zip
