Yet another Linksys Wlan/ndiswrapper post.!

I just completed an install of Suse 10.1 on my desktop computer. I have a wireless linksys usb adapter WUSB54G V4.

I used the latest stable ndiswrapper from sourceforge. I have gotten the adapter to connect to the router as I can view the router's administration page.

What I am having trouble with is connecting to the internet. Is there any setting that I am missing? I thought if you had a good connection to the router (which I do) via DHCP that suse would connect to the internet. I am stumped.

Update:

I have successfully connected to the internet, but it is necessary to run the following from the CLI as root:

route add default gateway 192.168.1.1

Everytime the network service is restarted it is necessary to run this. This is also necessary everytime the computer is rebooted. How do I make this permenant?
