how to put the "save password" check field, in accessing YAST working?

The save password field in accessing YAST or Konquer in super usermode doesn't work and i have to insert the password any time i access it

what shoul i do to put it working?

I've never used the "save password" option, but a simple test showed me that it does work at my system. Perhaps the password gets lost when logging out for security reasons? That would mean that you need to insert the password every KDE session

thx but i have my system running without login password only have password to root.

I know at least of 3 different computers including one laptop with suse 9.3 pro and 10 and all have this same issue.

Any help would be great.
