usb crashes

During normal usage my suse suddenly disconnects all USB devices. Lights go out on my keyboard and mouse, no input is detected and new devices are not recognized.
It happens unexpectedly every few hours and I think it started after a system update about a week ago.

Opensuse 11
Using KDE 3

Any ideas?
