Upgrading to MySQL 4.1

Running SuSE 9.2 Pro, which comes with MySQL v4.0.21.
I need to upgrade to MySQL 4.1
I downloaded the rpm from mysql.com and installed it via Yast.

When I check what mysql rpms installed, i do a few commands:

# rpm -q -a | grep mysql*
mysql-query-browser-1.1.4-2.suse91
mysql-administrator-1.0.17a-1.suse91
(so just the 2 tools i had before, no mysql server.)

# rpm -q -a | grep MySQL*
<no output>

# rpm -q MySQL-server-4.1.9-0.i386.rpm
package MySQL-server-4.1.9-0.i386.rpm is not installed
(indeed it is not installed, but then

# rpm --install MySQL-server-4.1.9-0.i386.rpm
warning: MySQL-server-4.1.9-0.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 5072e1f5
package MySQL-server-4.1.9-0 is already installed

!!!
i be confused.
Is it installed or not?
If so how do i run it?
