unsure how to compile xcdroast source code for 10.0

I downloaded the tarball source code for xcdroast, installed all the c compilers and librarys ran ./configure and saw error that glib was not in the path. I do not know where to look to check the path. I typed make and received an error that no target was specified. I rely on rpm packages, so I am not sure how to fix the errors, make a binary and install it.

Speaking of glibc: you probably need to install the glibc-devel package.

I just checked in Yast and glib was checked off as one of the packages installed from the installation cd. In fact, all the c-compiler related packages are installed on my system. Would I need to chedk the path at this point and if so, how is it edited?
