Suse 9.2 Pro Install

I downloaded the DVD version of Suse 9.2 Pro from one of Suse's FTP mirrors and burned the ISO with Nero 6. When I put the DVD in my drive and reboot the computer, the installer start detecting hardware and everything and then after a while I get a couple of segmentation fault errors when YaST is loading. I then get dropped into the text YaST interface and recieve an error message saying that my system does not meet the minimum requirements to run YaST in graphical mode. My question is why is this happening and how can I fix it so that I can use the graphical interface to install? My system is a self built Pentium 4 Northwood 2.8ghz on an MSI 875P NEO FIS2R motherboard with 1GB of Kingston HyperX DDR433 RAM. If you need any more info in order to help me, please ask.

Not sure why you're getting the segmentation errors, other than a corrupted or bad DVD.

There is little difference between the graphical interface and the ASCII/text-based interface for installation - so proceed with installation, install a graphic interface and see if Gnome/KDE works okay on your system.

if you are still getting errors (after you get a new DVD burnt) then try using a live version of linux (such as SuSE Live)
and checking out your system w/ that.

Well I ran the verification tool that comes with the installer and it said the DVD was bad so I tried downloading the mini CD installer and it also said that CD was bad. I also couldn't figure out how to get the install from ftp to work.

I ran memtest and I do get a few errors so I am wondering if that could be causing the segmentation faults. I am not so sure that it would cause the faults to happen in exactly the same place every time though....

I just recently RMA'd my memory to Kingston for the same errors in Memtest, although I was getting A LOT more before, so I am not sure if my memory is really bad or not. Are memtest errors ALWAYS caused by bad memory or could something else be contributing to the problem?

How do I get it to work though? I loaded the Intel Pro 1000 kernel module and then typed in what I thought was a valid ftp IP but it said the FTP gave a bad response or somethign like that.
