Suse 9.0 64 DVD iso download?

Hi,

I have to install Suse Prof on a 64 bit(dual xeon 2.8) machine.

From where can I download the DVD 64 bit ISO file, because I cannot find it anywhere?

It is mandatory to use Suse 9.0 because of a raid controller which don't have a driver only for 9.0.

Waiting for help.

Best regards,
Andy.

have you tried 9.2?at worst, you would have to compile the driver on it.
any of the suse mirros should have 9.0 still available in the archives

No I didn't try. I just asked the producer if the raid controller works wity Suse 9.1 (that is what we used untill now), but now we have bought a new machine and we want to build in this raid controller:
http://www.promise.com/product/produ...product_id=112

The answer from the producer was that the driver works only on 9.0 and won't work on 9.1.

I am not that good on linux (still learning)... but have to make this work.

And about the ... 9.0 DVD iso... I couldn't find it.

Regards,
Andy.

Because it is not existing (at least not officially). SUSE 9.0 was only distributed as FTP version for free. Otherwise you had to buy it .

thats what i get for going from 8.2pro to 9.1pro.
back to the issue at hand...i can see why you need an older distro,or more specificly, kernel.promise wrote the driver for 2.4 and only have 2.6 drivers for newer cards.i did come accross references to 2.6 having built in support so it wouldn't need a vendor driver, but, you never know until you try it.
