Suse 10.1 kernel sources

Are the Suse kernel sources installed as standard? or do I need to download them separately. Perhaps they are on the CD's?

Thanks,
tim

No the kernel sources are NOT installed default, you must install them, they are on the cd's I would also recommend to check weather gcc, and make are installed (not done by default) and install those also ...

Thanks Emg,
I'll do that. This might sort out another problem as well. I've being trying to install a modem driver patch which starts to churn out streams of error lines when I type #make. Maybe this is missing!
Thanks again,
tim
