Question Samba + LDAP PDC help!!!!!!!!!!

Why when I try to join a computer to a samba/LDAp domain I get "The user name could not be found" and when I try to type this at the konsole "getent passwd | grep root" I only get (root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash) and not (root:x:998:512:Netbios Domain Administrator:/home:/bin/false). also when I type (getent group | grep Domain) I don't get anything like
Domain Users:x:513:
Domain Guests:x:514:
Domain Computers:x:553:

Can anyone help me out with this, if the two command is not working I can't get anywhere with this and I have a feeling that that is why I can't join the domain.

What does "wbinfo -t" return? This will let you know if you're connected into your domain correctly. If not, you won't get any users or groups returned. What version of Samba are you using, and what steps did you carry out to connect into your Windows domain?
