Running Windows under XEN --anyone yet

Hi all

anyone had a go at running Windows XP / Server 2003 under XEN yet and actually got an app to run. In other words has anyone managed to do more than just boot up a Windows machine on XEN.

If this works reliably could be very useful.

Here's a link to a HOWTO but I don't have the relevant hardware (yet).

http://www.xensource.com/files/xen_install_windows.pdf

I'm sure someone on this board must have tried this with SUSE since XEN is implemented AFAIK fairly decently.

While I don't currently use Suse, I have XPSP2 running in Mandriva 2007 (32bit) without problems. I've had to use it to do a mirade of tasks including my taxes, MS Project and Visio editing (for school, not by choice), and compiling simple programs in Miracle C (again for class).

My hardware is an Intel DP965LT Motherboard, Core 2 Extreme, nVidia 7300GT with dual monitors (sweet), 2G memory (highly recommend this as 1G was sluggish), 160G and 120G Sata Drives, and a Plextor Sata DVDRW.

My xen config for Windows is here. I followed the instructions on xensource for Windows 2003 as a guide. My Xen partitions are all on an LVM drive so they can be more easily resized and manipulated. Plus I don't run into the 15 partition limitation using the partition table.
